England rugby fans dressed as admirals ejected as bodies sent flying in violent fight
DAILY STAR SAYS A violent fight broke out in the stands during England’s Rugby World Cup quarter-final victory over Fiji.
Fans dressed up as admirals were seen scrapping with others inside the Stade Velodrome midway through the match on Sunday (October 15). Punches were thrown before one man was lifted up and sent flying down two rows, landing on unsuspecting spectators who were oblivious to the ugly scenes behind them.
Those involved were reportedly ejected by French stewards for their unacceptable behaviour. A clip of the melee soon went viral on social media, with viewers poking fun at the culprits.
England’s rugby team will be aiming for glory in France, with Umbro supplying their kits for the tournament. It is the first time that the supplier have been handed the chance to produce the kits, with a traditional white home shirt emblazoned with the iconic red rose.
