Hundreds of Indigenous women gathered in Brasilia to start the third Indigenous Women’s March, aimed at advocating for women’s rights and protesting against the “time-frame argument,” a bill that is being voted on by the Supreme Court.
The court is weighing the legality of the bill, which holds that native peoples should not have the right to lands where they were not present in 1988 when the current constitution was ratified.
