Stacey was determined to keep Theo away (Picture: BBC)
Theo Hawthorne’s (William Ellis) days may be numbered in EastEnders, now that he has several characters on the warpath against him.
Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) recently discovered that it was creepy teacher Theo who had been stalking her, sending threatening notes, inappropriate gifts and even breaking into her house.
She was left terrified after reporting him to the police, only to be told that there was nothing they could do.
After informing her family of Theo’s true nature, she soon had an ally in the form of Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and, honestly, if we wanted anyone on our side it would be him.
Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) was quick to assure Stacey that Arthur and Hope had got to school safely, with the teachers fully aware of the situation, before revealing that Phil was on standby to help out.

She informed Stacey that all she had to do was say the word, and Phil would be there to ‘rip Theo’s head off and spit down his neck’.
He wasn’t the only one, as Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) and Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) were also keen to do some major damage.
However, it soon looked as though Phil or the others wouldn’t be needed, when Stacey later found Theo holding new baby Charli at the hospital.
As she took her off him and demanded that Lily (Lillia Turner) get away, she issued a chilling threat.
‘You come near my family again and I will kill you…’

Now, we’re sure we don’t need to remind you of the fact that there is a huge murder coming up, what with all the promotion EastEnders has been doing, but maybe it is time for us to point out that Stacey is set to be heavily involved.
We’ve mentioned before how The Six will be seen wearing specific colours while gathered around a dead body on Christmas day, and these have proved important so far.
With Stacey threatening to kill Theo while wearing red, we can’t help but wonder if this may be more than just an empty threat.

Not to mention the fact that actor William Ellis was spotted wearing the victim’s cufflinks at the National Television Awards this week, well and truly putting Theo in the firing line.
With detective Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) making it clear that he is willing to pretend not to have heard Stacey’s threat, it appears that Theo will have no one left to hide behind.
Is he set to meet his maker?
