Trauma in the village while others make big decisions (Picture: ITV)
There is horrifying violence in Emmerdale’s episode next week, with a life-changing trauma unfolding.

After they reflect on their lost baby together, Lydia’s trust in him is absolute – but he is about to shatter it in the worst possible way.
In terrifying scenes, Craig forces himself on Lydia and rapes her, leaving her world in pieces as she feels isolated and scared.
Deciding to keep her ordeal to herself, Lydia carries a harrowing secret, and life is never going to be the same again.
There is another form of attack elsewhere in the village too, when Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) is terrified to find Tom King (James Chase) badly beaten by thugs.
As she calls the police, will justice be done?
Meanwhile, bridges are finally being built between Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Caleb Miligan (William Ash)
