Vicky Pattinson shared an emotional post about her brand new job which has been on her ‘vision board’ for years and fans couldn’t be happier for her.
The Geordie Shore alum has had a heart-racing few weeks, having narrowly escaped a burning car just last month.
Her terrifying ordeal came while heading on a fancy night out with fiance Ercan Ramadan when their Uber’s check engine light came on and the vehicle burst into flames.
Thankfully the 35-year-old and her partner were okay and made it to their dinner on time.
Now, Vicky has brought fans some good news in the form of a brand new job working as a full-time radio host for Heart.
She wrote on Instagram: ‘I can’t believe I’m writing this… (just know I’m doing it through tears btw 😂) But I am officially @thisisheart’s brand new, official and full-time host for drive time North East!!! I START IN SEPTEMBER! ♥️🎙️💃🏼’
The excited new host was welcomed ‘to the family’ by fellow Heart host Amanda Holden as well as a slew of well-wishing comments from friends and fans.
Vicky continued: ‘This has been on my vision board for as long as I can remember (along with a really creepy cut out of @glouiseatkinson’s body doing strictly with my head stuck on but the less said about that the better 😳🤦🏻♀️)… I just honestly can’t believe it’s finally happening!!
‘As a super proud Geordie it means so much to me to be able to spend more time in the North East and entertain you guys on your school run or drive home from work.

‘I am also super honoured to be joining the @thisisheart radio family!! God, this is just a super exciting opportunity and I’m so grateful!!!’
She will be on the airwaves from September 11 on Heart North East, co-hosting the drive time slot with Adam Lawrance.
According to the I’m A Celeb winner, this move is a ‘permanent fixture’ as she promised’ chaos, lols and chat that makes our poor producer fear for his job’.
Vicky concluded: ‘I am buzzing like an old fridge!!!’
