Beyoncé’s mum addresses rumours star brings own toilet seat on tour and her response has just added confusion

Beyoncé’s mum Tina Knowles has addressed rumours her world-famous daughter brings her own toilet seats on tour, but to be honest, her response is just as much of a mind-boggler as the initial rumour.

The rumour started doing the internet rounds in recent weeks after a backstage photo from 41-year-old Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour showed a large black box stamped with the words: ‘Beyoncé toilet seats.’

But speaking on Monday at a Los Angeles airport, doting mum Tina, 69, said it wasn’t toilet seats in the box but ‘stands you put fans on,’ which, quite frankly, just adds a whole other layer of confusion.

When asked about the rumour by TMZ, Tina replied: ‘That’s so ridiculous. That’s too much.’

Tina then added: ‘Those are stands that you put fans on. They’re called toilet seats.’

It seems like a truly bizarre name for fan stands, but at least Tina’s put the rumour to bed once and for all.

Tina’s been putting a stop to rumours about her daughter left, right, and centre, and earlier this month rubbished claims Beyoncé dropped Lizzo’s name from hit song Break My Soul following legal action against the Good As Hell singer.

Earlier this month, fans at Beyoncé’s Boston show noticed Lizzo’s name appeared to be missing from the number.

Lizzo is facing accusations of a hostile work environment and sexual harassment as seen in court documents acquired by multiple US outlets.

But Tina appeared to shut down rumours her world-famous daughter had intentionally left Lizzo’s name out.

Commenting on an Instagram post reporting on Beyoncé’s apparent omission, Tina wrote: ‘She also didn’t say her own sister’s name.’

Tina’s comment was seemingly in reference to the fact mum-of-three Beyoncé left her sister Solange’s name out of the remix.

In the Queens remix of Break My Soul, Beyonce lists Lizzo as one of the inspirational black women breaking boundaries and has done throughout the tour.

The lyric usually goes: ‘Betty Davis, Solange Knowles / [Erykah] Badu, Lizzo, Kelly Rowl’ (You know you can do it).’

Following the publicising of the legal case against Lizzo, concert footage showed Beyoncé singing ‘Badu’ four times instead of ‘Lizzo’, although her name still flashed on screen in one clip.

Beyoncé did not address the situation, continuing with her gig as normal after the lyric swap.
