Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) is seriously struggling in the aftermath of Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson) and Liam Cavanagh’s (Jonny McPherson) affair reveal in Emmerdale and in Friday’s (August 11) episode, he even contemplated killing the local doctor in a dark revenge plan.
It came as a shock to us too!
Wendy has tried to get things back on track with her partner, even attempting to seduce Bob this week, but he ended up admitting that he’s – understandably – struggling with the prospect of sleeping with Wendy again after she spent months having sex with Liam.
This left Wendy feeling unloved and unwanted, but she wasn’t going to give up.

After advice from Vic (Isabel Hodgins), Wendy decided telling Bernice (Samantha Giles) that she needed to move out would be a step in the right direction.
Failing to get back on the same page as Wendy, Bob continued to direct his anger towards Liam and the fact ‘Doctor Leg Over’ is continuing to live his life in the village as normal, whereas his has completely fallen apart.

During a chat with Bernice, Bob alluded to the fact he wanted to get revenge.
Bernice then jokingly said, ‘what are you going to do, kill him?’, but Bob took that literally and pointed out that wasn’t a bad idea.

In upcoming episodes, Bob won’t go as far as killing Liam, but he will end up punching him in the face.
Disaster will then strike, as Bob is rushed to hospital after experiencing a heart attack.
