It’s been a rocky road for Chloe (Jessie Elland) and Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb), but there’s more upset on the Emmerdale horizon.

They somehow managed to pull through the Caleb (Will Ash) saga by the skin of their teeth after Mack asked Chloe to give him an alibi during the time Caleb was shoved off a cliff.

This backfired as Chloe then questioned whether she was shacked up with an attempted murderer.

After surviving that, they then they hit a new roadblock – Mack facing the sack from the farm. It was a tense time that nearly cost him his best friend, but yet somehow, Mackenzie ‘Teflon’ Boyd dodged another bullet.

Now as things begin to settle, Chloe makes a decision for their little family – she wants baby Reuben christened. Mack’s a bit sceptical, but Chloe has her heart set on it.

But things quickly turn to a disaster. Chloe begins to panic when she realises doesn’t think she can find godparents.

Seeing this as a deal breaker, the young mum crumbles and makes the heartbreaking decision to call the whole thing off, terrified the village will be gossiping about their unconventional family.
