11 people are missing after a fire ripped through a holiday home for people with disabilities.
The fire broke out at around 6.30am local time (4.30am GMT) on Wednesday morning at the home in Wintzenheim, France.
17 people were evacuated from the home, one of whom was sent to hospital.
The fire has damaged around two-thirds of the building and rescue efforts are still ongoing.
The blaze has already been put out.
The 11 people missing are made up of 10 adults with disabilities and one staff member. The visitors were on a group trip from the city of Nancy, a two hour drive away.
The home had been rented by a charity which takes care of people with learning disabilities, local media said.
The authorities say three bodies have already been located by drone, and there are likely to be several casualties.

Senior local official Christophe Marot told France 3 TV: ‘We’re almost certain of the death of the missing people.
‘We’re cautious until we’ve located all the bodies.’
Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne said she was en route to the site, adding: ‘My thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones.’
