Dwayne Johnson gifted UFC fighter Themba Gorimbo with a new home, after learning of his financial difficulties.
While training to be a champion, Gorimbo was sleeping at a gym in Miami. After losing his debut bout to AJ Fletcher, he had just $7 to his name.
However, he managed to secure a second fight – against Japan’s Takashi Soto – and won.
Using the $7,000 (£5,364.28) he earned from the win, Gorimbo installed a water pump in his village in Zimbabwe.
After learning of his financial struggles – and the fighter’s selfless act – Johnson, 51, decided to help him out.
In a heartwarming video posted to Twitter, the WWE Legend and Hollywood actor snuck up behind Gorimbo during an interview.

When he saw Johnson’s face, Themba was very emotional. He said: ‘Thank you. Now I will become a champion, trust me. Believe me!’
Writing on Twitter alongside the video, the Black Adam actor said: ‘He never asked me for anything, but I just wanted to help the guy out. $7 Bucks ya know.
‘And I felt the MANA & emotion in every hug. Very good and very special day.’
However, the interaction didn’t stop there.
Johnson said he wanted Gorimbo to meet a friend of his (imaginatively named Jay) – only to take him to his new place.
When he looked around the place, the UFC fighter noticed photos of his family already in frames. Then for the big reveal, Johnson handed over the key.
Johnson said: ‘I was so moved by your story and when I found out you were sleeping on the couch in the gym; there’s no more couch sleeping. This is your house.’

He added: ‘Welcome home. Now you can bring your kids here.’
Gorimbo had tears in his eyes as he hugged and thanked Johnson.
‘Because you got me this house, I was supposed to get a house to come here,” the fighter explained. ‘The money that I was going to use for the house, I’m going to build another borehole in my village now when I land in Africa.’
‘I will become a champion,’ he added. ‘Trust me.’
Johnson didn’t stop there as also kitted out Gorimbo’s wardrobe with training clothes.
We’re not crying, you are.
This isn’t the first time Johnson broke the internet with a random act of kindness. Only last week, he donated a jaw-dropping amount of over $1m towards the actors’ strike, as well as surprising a young girl with cancer.
After meeting the ‘strong’ and ‘special’ girl, he described these moments as ‘the best part of fame.’
