Harry Styles is the latest artist to be hit by an item thrown onstage while performing.

The Keep Driving hitmaker, 29, is nearly done with his long-running Love on Tour. However, a video went viral of him being hit in the eye during a performance in Vienna, Austria on Saturday July 8.

In the clip, Harry can be seen walking with a microphone in hand when something flies and hits him in the face.

Naturally, the entertainer was taken aback and bent over for a few seconds before standing upright and continuing to make his way down the stage, while still applying his hand to his face.

Fans expressed their annoyance with one person writing: ‘This is so weird, he literally doesn’t deserve lol.’

Another added: ‘Someone needs to teach these people concert etiquette.’

Last month, a number of musicians across America were attacked by concertgoers in various ways.

First, Bebe Rexha was struck in the face after someone in the crowd threw their handset at her, leaving the Hearts Wants What It Wants singer with a black eye and stitches.

Singer Kelsea Ballerini suffered a similar incident during her show at the Idaho Botanical Garden in Boise, Idaho last Wednesday when a fan threw a bracelet on stage and it hit her in the face.

And most recently, Lil Nas X dodged a flying sex toy when performing at Lollapalooza in Stockholm, Sweden.

Artists have started speaking out to urge fans to stop the strange and dangerous trend of throwing things at performers, and Adele ‘dared’ her Las Vegas residency crowd to try their luck.

She told the crowd at her Weekends with Adele residency show at Ceasar’s Palace Hotel and Casino in Sin City she doesn’t approve of the trend.

She said: ‘Have you noticed how people are, like, forgetting show etiquette at the moment, throwing (things) onstage? Have you seen it?

‘I dare you, dare you to throw something at me. Stop throwing things at the artist!’
