Rayne Royce (Jemma Donovan) has some serious explaining to do in Hollyoaks after Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell) confronted her with irrefutable proof that she’d been lying about finding a lump.
The influencer, as viewers know, lied to Romeo Nightingale (Owen Warner) on the day of sister Juliet’s (Niamh Blackshaw) funeral, claiming to have found a lump.
The lie was seemingly a cry for attention from fame-hungry Rayne, who was left feeling jealous after her beau sought comfort and solace from Peri instead of her.
Romeo was devastated to hear that Rayne had allegedly found a lump, subsequently proving himself to be the supportive and kind lad we all know him to be, missing Juliet’s funeral in a bid to be there for his girlfriend during this tough time.
Lacey Lloyd (Annabelle Davis), meanwhile, was horrified to find out what Rayne had done, reminding her that she previously told this lie with Brent, her mysterious ex who we still know very little about.

The lawyer ordered Rayne to come clean, with Rayne resolving to do just that, but Donna-Marie Quinn’s (Lucy-Jo Hudson) overdose ordeal resulted in the influencer reconsidering, urging Lacey to keep shtum – for Romeo’s sake, apparently.
At the hospital, James (Gregory Finnegan) was supportive towards Rayne after hearing news of her alleged lump, as was Donna-Marie, with the whole family promising to support her in whatever way she needed.

Rayne, however, claimed to have been given the all-clear from a private doctor, hoping to put an end to this lie once and for all, but Peri, having spoke to her friend who was on shift, stunned everyone with the revelation that Rayne never had an appointment at the hospital.
‘You never had a lump, did you?’, asked Peri, leaving Rayne completely and utterly speechless. Will she be able to lie her way out of this one? Or is Rayne finally set to be exposed for the manipulator that she is?
