David de Gea has posted another cryptic message amid the ongoing uncertainty surrounding his Manchester United future.
The Spaniard, who moved to Old Trafford from Atletico Madrid in 2011, had agreed an extension on greatly reduced terms only for United to withdraw that offer at the eleventh hour.
Manager Erik ten Hag has reservations about continuing with De Gea as his number one keeper, with the 32-year-old making several high-profile errors last season and also lacking the ball-playing skills the Dutch coach requires.
However, United have a limited transfer budget this summer and there are question marks over whether they can afford to sign a new goalkeeper.
The Red Devils are in talks with Inter to sign Andre Onana but have already seen one bid rejected.
United are hopeful of coming to an agreement with last season’s beaten Champions League finalists but, in the meantime, have asked De Gea to hold off joining a new club.
The 32-year-old, who marries his long-term partner Edurne Garcia last weekend, remains in a state of limbo and appeared to post a message in response to unprecedented situation he finds himself in by posting a juggling emoji on Twitter.
