Matt Goss has revealed he isn’t speaking to his twin brother Luke.

The 54-year-old star was the lead singer of 1980s pop group Bros, which also featured his twin brother Luke as the drummer.

But appearing on Good Morning Britain on Thursday, Matt told hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard that he and Luke, also 54, are no longer on speaking terms.

Matt made the reveal after 52-year-old Susanna asked: ‘Are you going to get back to Bros?’

The 80s icon then replied: ‘Well, we’re not talking at the moment.’

He added: ‘Luke, if you’re watching this, we should talk at least.’

Matt continued: ‘We’re so dysfunctional me and Luke at times, we haven’t spoken for months.’

Ben, 48, then queried: ‘What happened?’ to which Matt replied, ‘I don’t really know at this point.’

He also noted: ‘I really wanna get on stage. My favourite person to play with on stage is my brother, but I don’t want to lie to you guys and say it’s all hunky dory.’

Matt and Luke originally found fame in the late 80s in band Bros, which also featured their friend Craig Logan on bass.

The band formed in 1986 and scored a string of hits over the next couple of years, including When Will I Be Famous?, Drop The Boy, Cat Among The Pigeons and their 1987 chart-topper I Owe You Nothing.

They also scored two top five albums: Push in 1987 and 1988’s The Time.

The band had a huge fanbase – known as the ‘Brosettes’ – at the height of their fame – and were so popular that on one occasion police had to close off part of Oxford Street in Central London when it was overwhelmed by fans who had turned up to a record signing the band was doing at HMV.

Their fan club also had over six million members worldwide, while their first ever UK tour sold out all 14 of its dates within an hour of the tickets going on sale.

Metro.co.uk has reached out to Luke’s reps for comment.
