Big news for several residents – and not all of it good (Picture: ITV)
It’s a mixed bag for the residents of Emmerdale next week, with news good and bad being delivered.
As Lloyd fights for life, Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) reveals his own is on the line as he faces years in prison for GBH – and even longer if the stalker dies.
As Amelia (Daisy Campbell) tries to pin him down over the future when he is charged, he regrets his behaviour when he blames her.
Can she forgive him? And can his friends give him hope when they take action to support him?
Meanwhile, Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) is delighted to be told she is 16 weeks pregnant and she and Billy (Jay Kontzle) excitedly look forward to becoming parents together.
Clemmie is less than pleased at the prospect though, and an altercation with Dawn leads to a dangerous accident.
Thankfully all is okay with the baby – but what about with Clemmie herself?
Here’s what to expect next week.

Police take Dan in for further questioning (Picture: ITV)
Marlon’s left at his wits’ end by Gail’s incompetence in the kitchen but Charity ignores his pleas to sack her.
Despite Amelia’s warnings not to make things worse, Dan turns up to the hospital to check on Lloyd, where he meets Julie, Lloyd’s wife.
Dan tries to cover his fears in front of Amelia as the police take him in for further questioning. Once at the police station, he quickly realises that his visit to the hospital reflects poorly on his case.
To Dan’s surprise, DS Giles reveals that they’ve found nothing on Lloyd’s devices to suggest he’s broken any laws. Unsettled by the news, Dan’s rattled when DS Giles challenges him to tell him the truth.
Dan is charged with GBH and is terrified for the future. Back in the village, Cain urges him to pull himself together for Amelia’s sake.
At the hospital, Dawn’s taken aback to hear she’s 16 weeks pregnant.
Tuesday July 11
Amelia and Dan have an honest conversation (Picture: ITV)
Amelia finds the paperwork revealing that her dad was charged with GBH yesterday. He despairs when she continues to question him about his arrest.
Later, Dan wanders through the woods, necking a bottle of whisky until David finds him.
Dan vents to David about how one stupid moment of madness has wrecked his life and left him unable to look after Amelia and Esther.
Worried that he could still face a murder charge if Lloyd dies, David struggles to talk him round. After David helps Dan back to Dale Head, Amelia tells her dad that they need to have an honest conversation.
She’s left devastated, however, when Dan drunkenly blames his GBH charge on her social media activity.
Charity grows increasingly uneasy at Gail’s escalating series of mistakes and a decision is made to let her go.

After Nicky turns up with a card for Clemmie, Gabby throws him out and in the aftermath, accidentally reveals Dawn’s pregnancy to Lucas and Clemmie.
It’s chaos at Home Farm as Dawn and Billy struggle to calm Clemmie, who’s convinced that the new baby will mean she’s forced out of the family. As Clemmie’s upset escalates, she pushes a dining stool into Dawn’s stomach – when Dawn collapses, Clemmie’s frozen in horror at what she’s done.
Alarmed at Dawn’s condition, Billy convinces her she needs to go to A&E. Clemmie hides, terrified and guilt-ridden.
At the hospital, Dawn and Billy cry happy tears after the sonographer is eventually able to confirm that their baby is unharmed. Unaware and distraught Clemmie lets herself out of the back door of Home Farm and disappears into the night.
