Callum Hudson-Odoi has decided to leave Chelsea as transfer interest in him grows, according to reports.
The winger was once viewed as the future of the Blues’ attack after breaking into the first-team in 2018 and has been at the club since joining the Under-8s.
However, a combination of injuries and underwhelming performances have seen him slip down the order at Stamford Bridge and a poor loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen last season did nothing to fix that.
In all, he has recorded 16 goals and 22 assists in 126 games for his boyhood club, and was part of the sides that won the Champions League, Europa League, Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup.
At 22, he is still young enough to turn things around, but though he has reported for pre-season training under new manager Mauricio Pochettino, The Athletic claim that he has decided to move on to pastures new.
Chelsea were already prepared to sell Hudson-Odoi, who has three caps for England, as part of their fire sale that has seen seven players leave so far, including Kai Havertz and Mateo Kovacic.

Hudson-Odoi only has a year left on his contract and there is plenty of interest, with reports last month claiming that five Premier League side were keeping tabs on him.
Two of these, Fulham and Nottingham Forest, remain most heavily linked, with AC Milan also joining the race for the Under-17 World Cup winner.
