Festival season is upon us, and Wireless 2023 is set to light up London with the UK’s biggest stage for hip-hop, rap, Afrobeats, trap and grime artists.

Back for its 13th year, the north London festival sees some very famous faces heading to Finsbury Park to perform.

Last year’s lineup saw rapper A$AP Rocky, Tyler The Creator, Nicki Minaj and Doja Cat take up the mic, and the festival’s alumni also includes Jay Z, Drake and Rihanna.

So who will be appearing during the three-day festival, and when does it kick off?

    Let’s find out.

    When is Wireless 2023?

Wireless runs from Friday, July 7 to Sunday, July 9, 2023.

It is held in Finsbury Park, north London.

Last year fans were furious after Nicki Minaj started her set late in a performance plagued with technical difficulties and frequent breaks.

Festival goers were also ‘forced to climb over fences to avoid being trampled’ according to reports from those attending, after police were called to help manage the large crowds ahead of Minaj’s performance.

Who is in the 2023 line-up?

Friday July 7 sees Playboi Carty, Yeat, Lil Uzi Vert, Metro Boomin, Lancey Foux, Ice Spice and Kenny Allstar on the Main Stage.

On Saturday, rapper Travis Scott is headlining, and there’s also performances from Lil Yachty, Headie One, Bryson Tiller, Flo, No Guidnce and Tiffany Calver on the Main Stage.

Scott recently learned that he will not face charges over the Astroworld tragedy, when 10 concertgoers were killed at his festival and many more injured in a crowd surge.

Wrapping things up on Sunday will be hip-hop collective D-Block Europe, legendary rapper 50 Cent, plus Lil Durk, Popcaan, Lil Tjay, Dexta Daps and DJ Target.

Many other artists will be performing at the festival on the Amazon +44 Stage including Grammy-nominated GloRilla, plus K-Trap, Ken Carson, Latto, Cuppy and Joey Bada$$.
