Jesy Nelson has announced she’s taking a break from show business in order to pursue her dream of travelling.
The 32-year-old joined Little Mix all the way back in 2011, and after leaving the band in 2020 she quickly embarked on a solo career.
After all those years of hard work, Jesy is now ready for a break.
The singer took to Instagram to announce the news to her fans. She wrote: Hey guys! So for a long time I’ve really wanted to go travelling but never had the time to do it.
‘I’ve got some really exciting things coming up with work and my music, but until then I’m gonna take the summer off to travel the world.’

‘I’m going to be off my social media for a while, I love you all so much and I’ll see you when I’m back.’
If you travel the world and don’t post it on Instagram, did it even happen though? We kid of course, but hopefully there will be plenty of later grams when she does return to the UK so we can see exactly what she got up to.
Jesy is off to a cracking start with the travelling, as she recently shared a series of photos in a sunny location.

She found herself relaxing at a private pool and partaking in a BBQ, card games and the holiday classic – Fanta lemon.
Although the location wasn’t disclosed, Jesy did choose the caption ‘Buenas Noches’ (Good night) so we’re going to go ahead and assume it was a Spanish-speaking destination. Wherever she is, it looks lovely.
Jesy is yet to reveal who she’ll be travelling with or if she’s going solo, but she’s dating singer Zion Foster, 23, and the two seem pretty smitten.
