Declan Rice will urge West Ham United to accept Arsenal’s latest offer after Manchester City withdrew from the race for his services.
Arsenal launched a club recorded offer of £100million plus £5m in add-ons for the England international on Tuesday night.
The offer was not immediately accepted with negotiations continuing over the structure of the deal.
Arsenal’s huge offer however saw City end their pursuit of Rice on Wednesday morning with the champions unwilling to go further than the £90m bid that was turned away by West Ham earlier this week.
It leaves Arsenal clear to sign the Hammers skipper if they can finalise the deal, with Rice now ready to ask his club to accept the offer.
The Mail report there is now growing confidence Arsenal and West Ham will reach a final agreement by the end of the day.
The 24-year-old has favoured a move to north London throughout the process with Arsenal’s eagerness to get the deal done dating back to January.

It will see Rice overtake Jack Grealish as the most expensive British player of all time.
Arsenal are also expected to confirm the arrival of Ka Havertz in a £65m deal from Chelsea this week while the club are also making good progress in their efforts to sign Jurrien Timber from Ajax with personal terms already agreed.
Pep Guardiola has been keen to add to his already formidable midfield following the departure of Ilkay Gundogan, with the German signing for Barcelona.
But having refused to enter a bidding war with the Gunners for Rice, they will now focus on other targets.
City are also hoping to sign RB Leipzig star Josko Gvardiol in what is expected to be a world record deal for a defender.
The Treble winners are working on a deal to bring the Croatia international to the Etihad with the Bundesliga side looking for at least €100m (£86m).
