Excited fans have come to Glastonbury prepared for Sir Elton John’s debut Pyramid Stage performance – dressed in their best Rocketman fits.
As Sir Elton, 76, gets ready to wow his fans with a star-studded set which he’s devised especially for Glasto, the festival-goers are more than happy to dress up in his honour.

Fans have been spotted around Worthy Farm in glittering Dodgers costumes, referencing his iconic Dodgers Stadium performance in 1975.
Keen to see the I’m Still Standing singer in his one and possibly only Glastonbury performance, fans have been queuing since 4am to get to the front.
Sir Elton isn’t taking to the Pyramid Stage until 9pm this evening with his exciting new set, which is thought to include guest spots from stars like Britney Spears and Dua Lipa.
However, fans gathered at the front barrier from 4am just to see him perform his many hits – starting with a song he hasn’t played in 10 years.

The dedicated music lovers took sandwiches and drinks to keep themselves happy in the 17-hour wait for their idol.
Hype for the Rocketman singer’s set has been unprecedented and marks the end of Sir Elton’s UK dates on his Farewell Tour.
Glastonbury bosses have teased the set is ‘completely unique’ so it’s no surprise that fans are desperate to witness what will likely be music history in the making.
Glittery cowboy hats, Dodgers outfits, and Sir Elton’s signature giant glasses have all been spotted amid the bustling crowds as the hours creep closer to his set.

The iconic Dodgers outfit, designed by Bob Mackie, was worn by the Tiny Dancer singer when he headlined the Los Angeles Dodgers Stadium for two nights in 1975.
In a full circle moment, the singer returned to the stadium for his last gig in America, wearing an outfit reminiscent of the glittering blue and white uniform.
It seems Sir Elton is just as excited for the set as he Radio 1’s Clara Amfo it ‘couldn’t be a more perfect ending’ to his touring life.
