Stranger Things star Maya Hawke recalled the moment she landed in hot water with her dad Ethan Hawke.
The Robin Buckley actress, 24, appeared on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live alongside Breaking Bad legend Bryan Cranston and shared the worst trouble she got into with the Moonlight actor and mother Uma Thurman.
‘I said I was going to therapy and I really went to lose my virginity,’ Maya revealed
The star – who currently appears in Wes Anderson’s new movie Asteroid City – later stressed that Ethan was not happy by the revelation.
‘I can’t believe I just said that,’ she added.
‘My father was very, very upset. He went, “Where were you? Where did you go?’ And I said, “How am I supposed to have secrets if I can’t tell lies?”‘

Stranger Things fans are desperate to find out what the fifth and final season will have in store for them… but they’re going to have a while with the last instalment expected to be released on Netflix sometime in 2024.
The season four finale left the show on a huge cliffhanger, after the evil Vecna successfully managed to rip a hole in the Indiana town of Hawkins and expose it to the Upside Down.
While it appeared that the villain – formerly known as Number One or Henry Creel – had been destroyed, Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) was able to sense that he was somehow still alive, spelling more danger for Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and the rest of the gang ahead of the final showdown.
Speaking about how Stranger Things’ ending pans out, actor Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair) said: I’m not telling you. No, I actually don’t have all the secrets yet.
He continued to Collider: ‘I have an idea of what’s gonna happen, but I can’t wait to hear more about it, once this writers’ strike is over.’
Stranger Things is available to stream on Netflix.
