Trevoh Chalobah has opened up about a possible exit from Chelsea this summer amid transfer interest from Italian club Inter Milan.
Chalobah was determined to remain at Chelsea and prove his worth to Mauricio Pochettino but the Argentine reportedly sees him as surplus to requirements.
The 23-year-old defender only signed a new long-term six-year deal last November and has proven a useful and versatile squad member for a number of Chelsea managers over the last three seasons.
But Champions League finalists Inter are keen to sign Chalobah, who came through the Blues’ academy and has made 63 appearances for Chelsea.
Speaking about Inter’s interest in him, Chalobah told Sky in Italy: ‘I don’t know what the future holds. I played in France as well, in England, and you never know.
‘Italy is a nice country. When you play in a new destination, it’s something for a player to experience for himself. Italy is very beautiful as well.
‘Obviously, I am still a Chelsea player, but you never know. I like it here in Italy, the weather is good, the people are nice, food is good, I am enjoying my time here [on holiday in Italy].’

Asked about the strength of Serie A, with Italian teams making the finals of the Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League last season, Chalobah added: ‘I watched all those games.
‘They are really strong teams, the league is growing and the teams are really good. I think they are all very strong.’
Chalobah has seen former Chelsea teammates Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham thrive in Serie A with AC Milan and Roma respectively.
