Royal Ascot is almost upon us, with the UK’s most famous racing meet kicking off on Tuesday, June 20.
And while the crowds might gather for the races, this week-long event is just as much about the fashion, as it is about the horses.
But it’s not as easy as grabbing a fascinator and your favourite fancy gown. Royal Ascot has a strict dress code, and the rules vary depending on which enclosure you’re watching from.
The Royal Enclosure is the most formal area – where hats are a must (not even a fascinator will do), and halternecks are banned – while the Windsor Enclosure is a little more relaxed.
If you’re stuck on what to wear, we’ve got some options to ensure you’re serving looks – and following the rules.

LK Bennett, Eileen Pink Mesh and Feather Fascinator, £99.00
