British-born actress Naomi Watts has been warmly congratulated by ex-partner Liev Schreiber as she announced her marriage to American actor Billy Crudup.
Naomi and Liev were in an 11-year relationship until 2016, and share two sons together – Alexander, 15, and 14-year-old Samuel.
She and Billy starred in Netflix psychological thriller series Gypsy in 2017 as a husband and wife, prior to confirming their relationship.
Oscar-nominated Naomi, 54, known for Mulholland Drive, King Kong and The Impossible, announced the news in an Instagram post on Saturday, writing: ‘Hitched!’
She also shared emojis of a dove, knot and heart, alongside a picture of her wearing a white lace dress with a bouquet of flowers on the steps of a courthouse.
Watchmen and Almost Famous star Billy, also 54, was also seen in the image in a navy blue suit and coordinating button-hole, with his arm around his new wife.

She later posted more photos to her Instagram stories, including a sweet selfie of the couple, both smiling, which she simply captioned: ‘Hubby.’
Naomi shared photos showing a closer look at her gown and flowers, which she revealed came from a deli.
She also shared a picture of them in their wedding clothes with friends including The Avengers actor Mark Ruffalo, which she called ‘a little bit of fun with the husband’.
Plenty of Hollywood’s finest shared their well wishes for the couple in the comments section, including Liev.

Meanwhile, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Coolidge, Olivia Wilde and Michelle Pfeiffer were among other celebrities offering their congratulations.
The White Lotus star Coolidge commented: ‘Hooray!!! Just woke up to this !!!!! You two couldn’t look happier !!!XO.’

Naomi and Billy made their first appearance on the red carpet together in 2022, according to People, when they attended the Screen Actors Guild Awards together.
Billy shares a son with Weeds and The West Wing actress Mary-Louise Parker, with whom he was in a relationship from 1996 until 2003.
He also dated Homeland star Claire Danes from 2003 until 2006, after staring in period drama Stage Beauty together.
