Gaz Beadle’s wide Emma Jane McVey is struggling to stay positive as she’s hospitalised months after open heart surgery.
The Geordie Shore star, 35, and influencer Emma, 30, were married in 2021 and share two young children: son Chester, five, and three-year-old daughter Primrose.
Emma underwent open heart surgery five months ago and appeared to be recovering well from the major surgery, however was rushed back to hospital this week soon after returning from a family holiday.
The mum-of-two had shared the upsetting news on Friday saying she was ‘so glad we got back to the UK when we did, so glad I was admitted into hospital when I was.’
However she is now struggling to keep her spirits up as she misses her home and her children.
Emma took to Instagram again on Friday night where she shared a photo of her lying in her hospital bed with her eyes closed, her pyjama top unbuttoned just enough to see the scar left from her open heart surgery five months ago.

She wrote: ‘I hate complaining when I’m in hospital because I know I need to be here and they’re doing everything they can for me.
‘But wow I’m so fed up today. I was in a bad way when I came in and today I’ve started to feel better the day has felt so much longer and I just want to be home with the kids.’
It comes after Emma received life-saving open heart surgery in January to repair three holes in her heart as well as fix her tricuspid valve which controls blood flow between the right atrium and right ventricle.

She had previously told The Sun that before going under for the procedure she worried she might not ever see her husband or their children again.
The children left her bedside ‘crying their eyes out after we said goodbye,’ she recalled.
‘That was the hardest bit. I had to mentally prepare myself that it could be my last goodbye.’
She added to the publication: ‘I thought, “I’m going to get put to sleep and I’m not coming back out.”‘
She had been in and out of hospital for several years due to her condition ahead of her operation in January.
