Manchester United are keeping tabs on Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel as Erik ten Hag eyes competition for David De Gea.
The Spaniard is set to sign a new contract at Old Trafford, with his current deal set to expire in July.
Though that would suggest Ten Hag is happy to keep De Gea, he’s given him no assurances that he will remain first choice at the club.
De Gea is guaranteed to at least share the golden glove this season after keeping 16 clean sheets in the Premier League.
But, along with some expert displays, De Gea’s made costly errors and his poor distribution has held United back.

That’s led to Ten Hag scouring the market for replacements, and United have been heavily linked with a move for Brentford ace David Raya.
Porto’s Diogo Costa is another on United’s shortlist, but the Portuguese number one could cost as much as £70m.
