Holly Willoughby has been pictured for the first time since reports emerged of a supposed falling out between herself and her This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield.

The 42-year-old presenter was seen taking a stroll in Hampshire on Saturday morning and was photographed with a smile on her face as she checked her phone.

Keeping things casual, Holly stepped out in a khaki-coloured designer parka and jeans.

She accessorised her look with a Gucci cross-body handbag and tried to keep a low profile in a pair of black sunglasses.

Earlier this week, it was claimed that Holly and Phil were ‘barely speaking’ behind the scenes of This Morning and that their relationship had ‘cooled’.

However, on Thursday, Phil appeared to downplay rumours of a feud as he heaped praise on Holly and branded her his ‘rock’.

Speaking to The Sun, he said: ‘As I have said before, Holly is my rock. We’re the best of friends – as always, she is an incredible support on screen, behind the scenes and on the phone.

‘Holly has always been there for me, through thick and thin. And I’ve been there for her.

‘The last few weeks haven’t been easy for either of us.’

Phil had taken pre-planned leave from This Morning in April around his brother’s sex abuse trial at Exeter Crown Court.

His younger brother Timothy Schofield, 54, was convicted of 11 sexual offences involving a child between October 2016 and October 2019, including two of sexual activity with a child.

During this time, Holly was also ill with shingles and took time off This Morning.

It remains unknown as to whether Holly and Phil will front Monday’s episode of This Morning together (Picture: Rex)

It’s been claimed that the pair have engaged in a phone call since rumours of their tense relationship emerged.

A source said: ‘Things have been difficult between them, but for it to play out so publicly was the last thing Phil was ever expecting.

‘He has spoken with Holly over the phone about how this all played out.’

The insider added to The Sun: ‘He’s devastated by it all and is incredibly upset.’

It’s also been reported that This Morning bosses are in crisis talks about Phil’s future on the show amid concerns about his dwindling popularity with viewers.

The ITV show has not yet confirmed whether the duo would front Monday’s show together.
