Big Brother host Will Best has teased what we can expect from the highly-anticipated ITV reboot.

The iconic reality show will return to our screens next year with a brand new home on ITV2 after five years off air.

And the wheels are in motion as auditions to become a housemate have opened, but the official premiere date has been kept under wraps.

It was confirmed last month that presenter Aj Odudu, 35, and TV personality Will, 38, will be fronting the revival and host Will has promised that the upcoming series will bring the ‘fun.’

‘It’s going back to being real people,’ he said.

‘The focus of this is it’s going to be an entertainment show, but it’s going to be fun and funny with all of that emotion and realness that you get with Big Brother,’ he added to The Sun.

Will’s first known presenting gig came in 2010 when he fronted a comedy-pop show called Suck my Pop on Viva with Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh. The pair would conduct interviews and fun challenges with singing stars, but the series only lasted three months.

The following year he became a presenter on T4 and remained there until its demise in 2012.

Will has previous experience working on Big Brother, having been a regular panelist on Big Brother’s Big on the Side when the show was on Channel 4 between 2013 and 2014.

Recalling how he was a fan of the original show, he said: ‘I grew up with ‘Big Brother’ so getting a chance to host it with my mate AJ is a dream come true. I can’t wait to tell some housemates not to swear.’

AJ was also a co-presenter on the spin-off programme and its celebrity edition, with her stratospheric rise on TV being propelled even further by her incredible turn on Strictly Come Dancing in 2021.

‘AJ and Will really are our perfect pairing as we prepare to reintroduce ‘Big Brother’ to the next generation,’ said Paul Mortimer, director of reality commissioning for ITV2 and ITVX.

‘With a genuine chemistry, both of them will bring effortless wit, charm
and heaps of character to their roles and we’re delighted to be working
    with them both again.’

The Big Brother reboot is set to launch on ITV2 and ITVX later this year.
