Mack is still trying to see Reuben (Pictures: ITV)
Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) wasn’t prepared to give Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) the time of day in Emmerdale, as he continued to try and see his unwell son in hospital.
Reuben ended up in A&E after Liam (Jonny McPherson) decided it would be best to get him checked over.
It transpired that the baby was showing signs of bacterial meningitis and now, Reuben is very poorly indeed.
It wasn’t long until news of Reuben travelled around the village, which meant Mack soon discovered his son was seriously unwell.
Mackenzie will eventually be allowed to support Reuben alongside Chloe (Picture: ITV)
He attempted to secret see him in hospital last night (May 4), but Mackenzie told a nurse that he’s a family friend and not Reuben’s dad, which meant he wasn’t allowed to visit.
Of course, during this, Mack still hasn’t told Charity (Emma Atkins) the truth.
His desperation to see Reuben started to grate on Chloe tonight, as she pointed out how badly he had behaved throughout her pregnancy.
Trying to tell Chloe that he’s the only person who understands what she’s going through, Mackenzie was left heartbroken when she said that even if Reuben doesn’t survive, he still won’t be the baby’s dad.
