A man with a ‘hard bulbous growth’ above his eye has admitted he’s wary of medical procedures and getting it checked by a doctor, despite the bump growing for more than ten years.
What once started out like a small pimple or spider bite, is now a large ball of what feels like hard cartilage above his eye.
After concern from family and friends, he’s now visiting Dr Pimple Popper for some help.
The TLC reality programme follows patients across America visiting dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon Dr Sandra Lee for help with their ‘spots’, whether that be masses growing on their body or squeezing blackheads.
From a ‘third boob’ behind an armpit, to a man with 400 tumours across his body, there’s nothing Dr Lee hasn’t seen, but in a preview for an upcoming episode, a new patient admits his nerves ahead of seeing the professional.
‘I’ve got this bulbous growth on my eye,’ he begins.

However, despite the growth leaning over his eye and protruding from his forehead, he insists he ‘doesn’t notice it’ until he looks in the mirror.
In stomach churning scenes, he goes on to prod it with his fingers, explaining that it feels ‘really hard’ like ‘nose cartilage’.
‘I can move it around and it doesn’t hurt at all, there’s no pain,’ he says.
The Dr Pimple Popper star continues by telling viewers that the bump first appeared ten years ago.
He says: ‘I noticed this little bump like a spider bite below my eyebrow.

‘It was like a zit without a head or something like that, and over the next few years it started growing little by little.
‘But still, since it didn’t bother me, I didn’t want to go to the doctor. I basically just hoped it would go away.’
A decade later, and it hadn’t.

He continues: ‘I didn’t go to the doctor growing up, I never had a family doctor or anything like that, and I didn’t get sick a lot, and now as an adult, I’m definitely squeamish about a knife cutting me open.
‘I’m not a big proponent of any medical procedures.’
Dr Pimple Popper airs on TLC in America.
