Rebecca Ryan has welcomed an adorable new addition to her family after giving birth to her first baby.
The Shameless star, 32, revealed in December last year that she was pregnant, sharing a first look at her daughter in an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, May 2.
She also revealed that the cute youngster is named Aurora, with fans flocking to the comments to congratulate the actor.
Among those sharing well-wishes were her former Coronation Street castmates Elle Mulvaney, Julia Goulding, Mollie Gallagher, and Harriet Bibby.
Her brother and co-star Jack James Ryan also shared an adorable reaction to becoming an uncle, branding Aurora his ‘new best mate.’

When did Rebecca Ryan leave Coronation Street and who did she play?
Rebecca Ryan left Coronation Street last year after first arriving on the cobbles in 2021 as Lydia Chambers.

Lydia first arrived in the soap as the PA at Underworld with her young son Finn Chambers (Joshua Leavy) in town.
She soon befriended Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) with the two bonding over their children, however, Sarah soon learned that Lydia had a history with her husband Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson).
It was revealed that Adam and Lydia had a fling, leading to Lydia becoming pregnant and, and Adam curtly telling the youngster to abort the child.
Out of jealousy and fury over how she was treated, Lydia soon launched a harassment campaign against the couple, breaking into their home and sending them threatening letters.
She also made a dangerous hoax call claiming Adam had a weapon in his office at Barlow Legal Services, with armed police raiding the business.

Lydia got away with her actions without arousing suspicion as Adam believed someone who had lost against him in court was behind it.
She destroyed Adam and Sarah’s marriage by falsely claiming to be having an affair with the former, with Adam fighting back and eventually uncovering who was behind the harassment.
Lydia revealed that his treatment of her during their six-month fling when she was a teen was behind her hatred of him, but when he tried to explain, she pushed him off a balcony.
Lydia received prison time for her crimes, leaving the soap in 2022.
Who is her husband?
Rebecca Ryan married pilot Dan Acraman back in October 2022, before announcing the pair were expecting their first child in December.
She shared a romantic picture of the pair from the big day on her Instagram account, captioning the post: ‘Forever with you is not long enough.’
The pair got engaged in 2018, before the coronavirus pandemic put a pause on their nuptials.
