Plenty of headline-grabbing outfits dominated this year’s Met Gala, from Kim Kardashian paying tribute to both herself and Karl Lagerfeld, as per the theme, as well as Lil Nas X in silver body paint and a thong and more than one star opting to dress as Lagerfeld’s famous cat, Choupette.
However, we’re here to talk about the internet’s absolute favourite, and fans’ beloved ‘daddy’, Pedro Pascal.
The Mandalorian star, 48, rocked up to the 2023 Met Gala in a bold red and black suit look, baring his perfect knees to the world.
Dressed in Valentino, the actor wore a bright red shirt with black tie, black shorts, black socks and the shiniest of lace-up military-style boots.
Being Pedro, he avoided any schoolboy comparisons with a matching red unstructured overcoat, slicked back hair and a couple of chunky ornate rings on his fingers.
Unsurprisingly, the star’s fans were getting very hot and bothered over his look, sharing their appreciation online.

‘PEDRO PASCAL YOU ARE THE MOMENT,’ declared one excited person, as another tweeted: ‘Pedro pascal i love you and i’ll defend your shorts till the end of the line.’
‘Pedro pascal at the #MetGala SLAYED. he served. he ate and left no crumbs. he devoured everyone on the red carpet and spit them back out. he came to conquer and he did,’ one fan swooned.
Keeping the attention on below his shorts hemline, another simply observed: ‘Pedro Pascal and his slutty little knee at the #MetGala.’
Delightfully, Pedro’s The Last Of Us co-star Bella Ramsey also scored an invitation to the prestigious event.

The 19-year-old opted for a Thom Browne black suit embellished with pearls, which featured a blazer, skirt section and trousers, which were paired with heeled patent brogues.
Freshly-announced Chicken Run star Bella, who identifies as non-binary, also enjoyed an experimental eye make-up look, sporting white eye shadow.
Sadly, we didn’t get to soak up more wholesome Pedro and Bella content as they didn’t pose together on the red carpet this time – but we know in our heart of hearts that they will have had a ball, separately and together.
