Serena Williams is expecting her second child with husband Alexis Ohanian, confirming their baby joy at the Met Gala 2023.
The tennis icon, 41, was joined by the Reddit boss at the exclusive bash, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday night.
She was glowing on the red carpet, and debuted her growing baby bump in a navy Gucci gown, paired with sheer sleeves and a lace bottom, complete with strands of pearl necklaces.
Her beau, 40, looked dapper in a navy tux and shiny black shoes.
The lovebirds subtly announced their new bundle of joy in a brief chat with Vogue, with the expectant mom telling the outlet: ‘There’s three of us here.
‘I’m good, I’m really good now. I can breathe, I can stop, I’m not hiding…’

In a knowing caption on Instagram, she added: ‘Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala.’
Followers couldn’t get enough of the news – or the chic announcement – flooding the comments with congratulatory messages.
A follower said: ‘So so happy for you, Alexis, and Olympia! You deserve all the happiness in the world champ!’
‘Awwwwww!!!!!!! Another champion babyyyyy is cooking,’ another agreed.

‘Ahhhhhhhhhhh congrats you guys. Love y’all so much,’ a fan replied.
An Instagram user added: ‘Omg yayyyy!!!! Congratulations @serenawilliams @alexisohanian! Olympia is going to be such a great big sister!’
Serena wasn’t the only famous to share a pregnancy announcement on the carpet, with Karlie Kloss also revealing her second child is on the way.
Serena and Alexis welcomed daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. together in 2017, but it was a tough pregnancy for the athlete.
She endured a tough ordeal in the delivery room and nearly lost her life after giving birth.
In a candid open letter in the pages of Vogue last year, she opened up about the idea of expanding their family after she walked away from her impressive tennis career.
‘In the last year, Alexis and I have been trying to have another child, and we recently got some information from my doctor that put my mind at ease and made me feel that whenever we’re ready, we can add to our family,’ she wrote.

She explained that it was unfair to have to choose between her tennis efforts and her family life, but conceded that ‘something’s got to give’.
‘If I were a guy, I wouldn’t be writing this because I’d be out there playing and winning while my wife was doing the physical labor of expanding our family,’ she continued.
‘These days, if I have to choose between building my tennis résumé and building my family, I choose the latter.’
