Gisele Bundchen channeled her inner angel at the Met Gala 2023, and we are living for every single sparkle.
This year’s bash, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, is honoring late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld with the theme – and the celebrity arrivals have definitely gone all out with their outfit choices so far.
Gisele was no different, hitting the red carpet in a very, very sparkly floor-length vintage Chanel gown.
If all the glitter wasn’t enough, the 42-year-old commanded attention in a long, feathered cape, paired with a shiny clutch bag and diamond earrings.
We are officially not worthy.
If you’re wondering where you’ve seen the dress before, the mom-of-two actually wore it for a Harper’s Bazaar Korea shoot in 2007.

Speaking about the special dress on the red carpet, she told Vogue: ‘I wore this in 2007 in an editorial. When I was picking the dress, [I thought] “This is the one!”’
Well, she’s not wrong.
Tonight’s ceremony is the first Met Gala since Gisele confirmed her divorce from Tom Brady at the end of last year.

The pair – who first started dating in 2006 – have previously posed together on the red carpet multiple times, most recently at the 2019 event, which celebrated all things camp.
Following a 13-year marriage, they went their separate ways last year, but vowed to remain close for the sake of their children, Benjamin and Vivian.
Speaking in a candid new interview, she described their split as a ‘death and a rebirth’, explaining that it had been a tough decision behind the scenes.

‘It’s tough because you imagine your life was going to be a certain way, and you did everything you could,’ she told Vanity Fair.
‘You give everything you got to achieve your dream. You give a hundred percent of yourself, and it’s heartbreaking when it doesn’t end up the way you hoped for, and worked for, but you can only do your part.’

‘Sometimes you grow together; sometimes you grow apart,’ she continued. ‘That doesn’t mean you don’t love the person. It just means that in order for you to be authentic and truly live the life that you want to live, you have to have somebody who can meet you in the middle, right? It’s a dance. It’s a balance.
‘Listen, I have always cheered for him [Tom], and I would continue forever. If there’s one person I want to be the happiest in the world, it’s him, believe me. I want him to achieve and to conquer. I want all his dreams to come true. That’s what I want, really, from the bottom of my heart.’
