Is romance in the air again for Tom and Belle? (Picture: ITV)
Emmerdale never fails to provide viewers with drama, and recent episodes have not fallen short of the mark.
Yesterday, things really got dialled up to 11, with Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) screaming as she discovers troubled teen Marshall Hamston (Max Fletcher) unconscious and covered in vomit after a drinking binge with Cathy Hope (Gabrielle Dowling).
Laurel implores Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) to call for an ambulance, begging him, ‘don’t just stand there!’ but Marshall appears lifeless as she shakes him and tries to bring him around.
Tonight’s episode promises just as much drama as we see Marshall pull through his ordeal and contend with the fallout of what has happened.

Elsewhere on the show, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) asks Caleb Milligan (William Ash) to move into the Woolpack.
Caleb has had a turbulent time on the show recently, with the reveal that Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) is actually Caleb’s son and the pair’s collaboration to bring down Kim Tate (Claire King) seeing a spanner thrown into the works by Nicky’s fling with old flame Ally and his reluctance to carry on his sham relationship with Gabby.

With Caleb also left contending with financial issues in Wednesday’s episode, he’s left hoping he’s made the right decision by agreeing to move into the Woolpack and the various implications for the character’s future.
After it was revealed that the mysterious figure watching Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) was none other than former flame Tom King (James Chase), the pair ended up flirting and agree to meet up tomorrow in tonight’s episode – yet more clues that romance could be on the cards for them once again.
Emmerdale continues tonight at 7.30pm on ITV.
