Paris Hilton will reportedly attend next month’s Met Gala for the very first time.
The 42-year-old star is said to have been invited to the biggest night in fashion by Vogue and although it’s not yet clear what fashion house she’ll team up with for the bash, it’ll apparently be a ‘big’ designer.
Just before A-listers descend on the Met’s steps on the first Monday of May, mum-of-one Paris will be in Washington at a conference where she’ll be introducing the new Stop Institutional Child Abuse Act.
TMZ reports that Paris will jet into the Big Apple from there.
A source told the outlet: ‘Paris got the invite from Vogue and luckily she was available to go.’

The added: ‘[It’s] unclear who she’ll be working with for the outfit, but a big accomplishment like this must warrant a big designer.’
Meanwhile, Paris confirmed on Thursday that she’ll be visiting DC to advocate for child abuse reforms.
The Simple Life star tweeted: ‘After years of advocating to reform the Troubled Teen Industry, I’m back in D.C. to introduce the Stop Institutional Child Abuse Act.

‘This bill is so personal to me as a survivor and I’m so proud we’ve gotten to this huge milestone.
‘What we are doing MATTERS. This bill is the justice we’ve been waiting for. No child deserves to be sexually, mentally, physically, or emotionally abused in the name of treatment.
‘The time to stand up and fight is NOW.’
In the past, Paris has spoken candidly about the abuse she endured at boarding school when she was a teen.
In her 2020 YouTube Originals documentary This Is Paris, she alleged that staff members at Provo Canyon School inflicted emotional, physical and psychological abuse on her.
In a statement issued that year, the school said: ‘We do not condone or promote any form of abuse. Any and all alleged/suspected abuse is reported immediately to our state regulatory authorities, law enforcement and Child Protective Services, as required.
