In a recent episode of Emmerdale, Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) found a lump in her breast.
She headed to the doctors to see Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker), who then told Amelia she would need to go to the hospital for a scan.
Amelia was told the results from her scan would take a week which terrified her, convinced that wait would impact her if she was diagnosed with cancer.
Of course, in the aftermath, Amelia struggled to cope with her overwhelming emotions surrounding the ordeal.
She became terrified that Esther would be without a mum, and despite seeking support from Noah (Jack Downham), she couldn’t shake the fear that she’s going to die.
In Thursday’s (April 20) edition of the ITV soap, Amelia’s was given a pleasant distraction in the form of Charity (Emma Atkins) and Mack’s (Lawrence Robb) wedding.
Back in the pub, a newly reformed Samson (Sam Hall) entered the back room and offered to take a family photograph of Noah, Esther and Amelia.
Noah, recognising that Samson was trying to be kind, then offered to take a picture of him, Amelia and Esther as well.

As the evening got underway, Amelia received a phone call.
Noah found her in tears, but they were tears of relief, as Amelia confirmed the lump on her breast is a cyst.
She doesn’t have cancer.
