A charmingly eerie island, along with outfits inspired by the popular Netflix series Wednesday, have been brought to life in Animal Crossing: New Horizons by a dedicated player.
Animal Crossing players have a reputation for imaginative creations, which range from cursed Backrooms builds to adorable islands inspired by Super Mario.
Given Wednesday’s popularity on Netflix, it was only a matter of time before someone attempted to replicate the eerie ambiance of the Nevermore Academy within the game.
In fact, one Animal Crossing: New Horizon player decided to add an extra dash of witchiness and dubbed their island Salem, adding to the overall gothic feel.
The player, who goes by Mrswilliamson30, posted multiple screenshots of their island on Reddit, along with a complimentary map that highlights special areas of the town.
They explained that their home is Nevermore Academy, containing everything from the iconic dance floor and the Botanical Sciences classroom to the library and even Principal Weems’ office.
Mrswilliamson30 stayed loyal to all the show’s details, particularly while designing Wednesday and Enid’s dorm room, making one side black and white and the other side bright and colourful.

The Animal Crossing players even went one step further and designed seven distinct shirts and a dress, all of which are based on the show.
The fashion collection ranges from the black and purple Nevermore Academy uniforms to Wednesday’s trademark black dress paired with a crisp white blouse.
Moreover, Mrswilliamson30’s character is an accurate replica of the show’s titular protagonist, complete with black hair styled in braids.

Their Reddit post was met with only positive comments, from Wednesday fans who said they can’t wait to visit the island.
A fellow player also praised Mrswilliamson30 recreation of the locations from the show, particularly Wednesday and Enid’s room.
‘The way you captured Wednesday and Enid’s room so perfectly! OMG,’ the comment read.
