A This Morning phone-in left hosts Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes stunned when a man couldn’t stop gagging after attempting to touch his own ears.
The segment saw viewers ringing the ITV programme to discuss their fears and phobias, in an attempt to try and get over them.
But that didn’t work for Colin.
As the Liverpudlian rung into the show, he explained: ‘Since I can remember, the late teens, I’ve had a phobia of ears, and it’s that bad that I haven’t had a haircut past my shoulders for over 30 years.
‘I can’t stand the sight, I can’t stand the touch of ears.’
He went on to confirm it was everybody’s ears he was petrified of, and couldn’t even hold the phone up to his head and had to speak on hands-free.
‘Your ears make me sick,’ he told Phillip, adding it would be ‘very, very difficult’ to touch his own ear.

Colin went on to discuss where the fear may have come from, after being made to have clean ears by his mum as a child, and not wanting to get into trouble.
But, finding the foundation of his fear didn’t actually help him overcome it, as Colin then tried to touch his own ears, which left him gagging.
As he touched his ears, and loudly gagged on the phone, Phillip shook his head and said: ‘That’s not a brilliant reaction.’
Trying to move on, Phillip added: ‘I think he was at the beginning of that, he was just getting started.’
