It really sounds like The Last of Us TV show will go way beyond a season 2
The Metro says The creators of the The Last of Us have hinted that the post-apocalyptic drama might well be going beyond a second season.
Starring Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal, the US TV series follows Ellie and Joel as they travel across North America 20 years after a deadly zombie outbreak.
Based on the 2013 critically acclaimed video game of the same name, the first season of The Last of Us began in January and ran for nine episodes in total.
The series received widespread acclaim from fans and critics, with many regarding it as one of the finest video game TV adaptations ever made.
A second season, based on the events of sequel game The Last of Us 2, has been promised and is expected to arrive in the next two years.
Now the show’s creator, Craig Mazin, 52, has indicated more episodes will come after that, despite there being no third The Last of Us game at present.
