Dexter Ansell, a former Emmerdale star, has landed a major new Hollywood role.
The actor, 8, played the role of Lucas Taylor in the ITV soap up until two years ago, when Noah Ryan Aspinall took over the role.
Dexter recently revealed that he had been cast as a young Coriolanus Snow in the Hunger Games prequel – The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
Sharing a picture on his Instagram, Dexter can be seen alongside Donald Sutherland’s version of President Snow from the original films.

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, set 64 years before the first Hunger Games film, follows 18-year-old Snow, who attempts to worm his way into the Capitol for the life he will go onto lead.
When we first meet the likes of Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), they’re names are drawn for the 74th annual Hunger Games which means in this new film, Snow is a mentor for the 10th.
