Did Kelly Clarkson just throw major shade on ex-husband Brandon Blackstock?
The singer, 40, appeared to have a dig at her ex by changing the lyrics in a cover song on her TV show, referencing her bitter split from the talent manager, 46.
Kelly was belting out a rendition of Gayle’s viral hit abcdefu, but opted to make the killer track more personal with nods to her own ex.
‘F*** you and your mom and your sister and your job and your broke-a** car and that s*** you call art’, Grammy-nominee Gayle sings in the original version.
But performing her own cover on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Kelly instead sang: ‘Forget you and your dad and the fact that you got half and my broken heart, turn that s*** into art’.
Kelly stuck to the standard lyrics for the rest of the performance, but the lyric change didn’t go unnoticed by fans.

One tweeted: ‘”forget you and your DAD”, we know what you did there honey!’
‘I know Brandon Blackstock feels the burn from this’, another penned.
‘the lyric change! oh her divorce album is gonna be soooo good!!’, one individual tweeted.
Kelly was married to Brandon for almost a decade, but the couple decided to call it quits in 2020 and finalised their divorce last year.
The former spouses share children River Rose, seven, and five-year-old Remington Alexander, and were embroiled in a fiery custody fight, with court battles over property, child support, and spousal support just some of the issues that faced the warring couple.

Kelly eventually secured primary custody, but she’ll have to pay out big.
According to previous reports by TMZ, Brandon, who lives in Montana, will have the kids for one weekend a month.
And while Brandon challenged the pre-nuptial agreement, the judge affirmed its validity, with Kelly keeping her income of around $20million (£15m) per year.
However, the Breakaway hitmaker will have to pay Brandon $115,000 (£87k) per month in spousal support until January 2024.
He will also receive $46,000 (£35k) per month in child support, and Kelly will pay him a sum of $1.3m (£990k) as part of the settlement.

Meanwhile, Brandon is permitted to stay in Kelly’s Montana ranch until June 1, but he will have to pay her $12,500 (£9,150) a month in rent.
The legal battle hasn’t put Kelly off the studio, though, as she’s already announced a break-up album, titled Chemistry, that’s got everyone so hyped.
Kelly delighted fans with her announcement this week, vowing to cover her ‘entire relationship’ with Brandon, not just their split.
‘It is officially time to tell you that I’ve been working on this project for close to three years now, and I wasn’t sure I was going to release it but I am!’, The Voice coach said in a video.
Of the title, she explained: ‘I was trying to find a word that really described the whole thing ’cause I didn’t want everybody to think I was just coming out with some just like, “I’m angry, I’m sad”, like, just one or two emotions, you know?’
‘This album is definitely the arc of an entire relationship… and a whole relationship shouldn’t be just brought down to one thing,’ she added subtly.

‘So, there’s, you know, the good, the bad and the ugly kind of thing going on in it. Chemistry can be a really amazing, sexy, cool, fun thing, but it can also be very bad for you.’
Teasing a release date, Kelly said Chemistry will drop ‘soon’.
