Terrifying footage has captured the moment a man’s bungee cord snapped and sent him plummeting into a lake.
The tourist, named in reports as Mike, had travelled from Hong Kong to the Changthai Thappraya Safari and Adventure Park.
He had bravely approached the site’s bungee area where he was hooked into equipment.
The man then jumped from the 10-storey high platform.

Footage caught the following stomach-churning moments unfold, when Mike’s cord snapped and sent him falling headfirst into the water below.
He was rushed to hospital following the incident.
Speaking to HK01, he said: ‘The pain was so intense that I felt dizzy. As my arms were stretched out, my armpit area was the worst hit.
‘My friends and I suffered losses due to the accident, including changes to our travel plans, my injuries and income loss… If the accident had been more severe, I could have lost my life.’

Mike was left with bruises across his body following the shocking incident, which took place last month.
He told HK01 his medical bills spiralled to around £5,000 which were, fortunately, covered by his travel insurance.
Changthai Thappraya Safari and Adventure Park also offered him compensation, as well as a refund for the bungee experience.
Shockingly, Mike’s case echoes a similar shocking experience in Poland in 2019.
An unidentified man, 39, was left with severe spinal injuries in the terrifying incident at a theme park.
Video had shown a crowd of onlookers watching as the jumper is hoisted 100 metres into the air on a crane.
The jump begins as expected, but as the man’s body flies towards the ground his rope snaps and fails to pull him back up.
Witnesses are heard screaming as he hurtles into an inflatable cushion with a loud smack.
The cushion thankfully broke the man’s fall but he was rushed to hospital following the incident at the Rady Europy theme park in Gdynia, Poland, on Sunday at around 6pm.
Official Krzysztof Kuśmierczyk said the man did not have ‘visible injuries’ but suffered multiple organ failures and a broken cervical spine.
