Sir Elton John and Dolly Parton have reportedlyw teamed up for a major duet in a brand new song.

The Tiny Dancer singer, 75, and Jolene star, 77, have collaborated for the first time in their long and decorated careers, with a new track due to come out this year.

Sir Elton is currently preparing to wrap up his massive goodbye tour, Farewell Yellow Brick Road, for which he has traveled the world.

The star is also preparing to perform a set at Glastonbury for the first time this summer as part of the goodbye tour.

Musician Sir Elton teamed up with Britney Spears last summer for chart-topping duet Hold Me Closer, and clinched an earworm hit with Dua Lipa in 2021 with Cold Heart.

They added that the musician heard Dolly was interested in working with him ‘and leapt at the chance.’

‘Elton loves collaborating and who better to do so with than a bona fide music legend?’

The pair are believed to have teamed up on a version of Sir Elton’s hit Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me, in keeping with the recent tradition of the star re-releasing new versions of old tracks with major stars.

‘I’ve sent out a message asking him if he would sing with me on it and possibly play the piano.’
