Comic Relief is back! Also known as Red Nose Day, it will be on our screens on Friday, March 17, 2023 with plenty of mayhem and moving moments aimed at raising funds to fight child poverty.
Broadcast live from Media City, Salford, from 7pm, highlights in the three-hour fundraiser include a spoof of The Traitors featuring Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders and Mary Berry, plus Kylie Minogue in a special episode of Ghosts.
There’s a parody of Love Island, too. And Blue Peter gets a red makeover for the first time in its 65-year history. Plus, Blackadder returns 20 years on from his last appearance.
This year has a brand new Red Nose is specially designed by Sir Jony Ive, the former Apple whizz who brought us the iPhone, iPod and iMac. It folds flat so you can carry it easily, and opens out in a cute honeycomb globe.

Comic Relief says the flat design also makes it more efficient to package and post, and means it can contain almost all recyclable, plant-based materials.
So where can you get your hands on one of the new Red Noses, and what other fabulous merch is on offer?
