I’m gutted. You’re gutted. We’re all gutted. Eurovision tickets went on sale and, no, we weren’t fortunate enough to get our hands on them.

Tickets sold out completely in an unbelievable 40 minutes as demand went through the roof, with some hopefuls facing technical issues.

The final will be jointly hosted in Liverpool this year on May 13, with the UK and Ukraine taking on presenting and hosting duties together.

Ukraine were crowned winners last year, but due to Russia’s ongoing invasion in the country runners-up the UK were invited to host in their stead.

Even though tickets for the Grand Final are sold out, there is a way for you to get tickets after all, thanks to a prize draw set to take place on Red Nose Day.

Two tickets to the sold-out Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final will be given away in the week-long competition, appropriately named Liverpool Calling.

The draw was announced on Zoe Ball’s Radio 2 Breakfast Show on Monday morning, with it set to conclude on Friday March 17.

If chosen as the winner, you’ll be covered for your trip to Liverpool, a one-night stay in a top hotel, and, of course, the best seats in Europe at the Echo Arena.

As well as getting access to Grand Final, the winner will also be set for an exciting meet-and-greet with BBC favourites Rylan and Scott Mills.

Around 3,000 tickets will be made available for Ukrainian refugees living in the UK, who fled their home country after it was invaded by Russian troops last year.

If you want to enter the draw, all the important information you need can be found on the Comic Relief website. All entrants must be 18 or over.

Money raised from the draw will go towards helping those struggling with the cost-of-living crisis, homelessness, mental health, and food poverty.

The UK’s Eurovision entry, Mae Muller, revealed that she ‘blacked out’ after the announcement that her song I Wrote a Song would be the UK hopeful.

Meanwhile, 2012 winner Loreen, whose song Euphoria won the competition for Sweden, is set to represent her country for the second time.
