There could be another Casualty exit on the way during this week’s episode, as Robyn Miller (Amanda Henderson) prepares to leave Holby ED for a new life in Wigan.
Wigan! Of all the places in the world!
Making her arrival in 2012, a recent episode of the medical drama saw Robyn make a huge decision after proposing to her partner, Paul (Paul Popplewell).
Paul told Robyn that he was planning on beginning a new career as an HCA. The catch? His mum lives in Wigan, and wants Robyn and her daughter Charlotte to go as well.
After Paul proved himself to Robyn, she knew he was the right man for her and proposed outside the hospital, hugging as she revealed ‘It’s a yes for Wigan!’.
Unlike most of the characters in Casualty (looking at you, Ethan Hardy), Robyn’s actually worked her notice and this week, it’s her final shift.
Will she get a happy ending? (Picture: BBC)
Posting the news on Twitter, the Casualty account wrote: ‘It’s Robyn last shift in the E.D, but will she trade her life in Holby for her happy ever after?’.
This beloved character has been through so much since we first met her, most notably the death of her partner, Glen, who died after a cancer diagnosis.
She deserves a happy ending, but this is Casualty…will she get it?
Robyn’s departure comes just weeks after we said goodbye to Ethan (George Rainsford), who’s gone travelling with his young son, Bodhi.

And let’s not forget, we also have the departure of David Hide (Jason Durr) ahead.
It’s definitely all change at Holby ED!
