Diversity star Perri Kiely has admitted Tyler West can join the dance troupe on one condition – only if he wins Strictly Come Dancing.

The radio DJ is paired up with professional dancer Dianne Buswell, and he’s certainly impressed after earning the first 10s of the 2022 series.

And it’s not just viewers who are impressed, as Perri admitted Diversity have to ‘cash in on him’.

Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk at Kiss FM’s Haunted House Party, Perri said: ‘If he wins there’s a place, we’ve got to cash in on him.

‘It’s an investment, we’ve just opened our new Diversity studio so we can make him a receptionist!’

The Ashley Banjo-led street dance troupe became one of Britain’s Got Talent’s biggest success stories, after winning the third series back in 2009.

This comes after Tyler and Diane’s Movie Routine Week delighted judges and continued their winning streak, with two 10s safely secured under their belts.

Earlier this month, Tyler and Dianne took a trip to the 1960s with their performance set to the song Flash, Bang, Wollop! from the film Half a Sixpence and choreographed by Jenny Thomas and Sean Moon.

When the time came for the judges to give their scores, Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke both awarded the couple 9s.

However, Motsi Mabuse and head judge Shirley Ballas felt that the dance was worthy of 10s, meaning the pair scored 38 out of a possible score of 40.

Several viewers pointed out that Tyler’s feat was even more impressive considering he ran the London Marathon the Sunday before, a day after week two of the competition.

We can’t wait to see how much he impresses the judges tonight!

Strictly Come Dancing airs tonight at 6.50pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
