A 15-year-old boy and a man have been arrested after a microwave was hurled through the windscreen of a moving car, injuring the driver.
The motorist was driving in Lincolnshire on October 16 when he suddenly saw a scooter with two people on it coming towards him.
The passenger of the scooter hurled a microwave into the windscreen of the car around 11pm.
It got wedged inside the blue Ford Fiesta, causing the windscreen glass to shatter everywhere.
Lincolnshire Police arrested the man and the 15-year-old boy on Friday evening.
Police officers allegedly spotted them riding on stolen motorbikes through Gainsborough town centre and the duo were detained on suspicion of the theft of a motor vehicle.
They also searched a third man who was arrested after being found carrying a metal pole.
Officers suspect they are responsible for a spate of criminal damage which has been plaguing the town in recent weeks.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: ‘We have arrested two people in connection with the series of criminal damage reports in Gainsborough.
‘CCTV operators from West Lindsey District Council witnessed three males riding around on suspected stolen motorbikes through the town centre.
‘Officers attended and arrested two males aged 15 and 25 on suspicion of the theft of a motor vehicle.
‘They remain in custody at this time. Both motorbikes were also seized during the arrests.

‘Whilst in the area, officers also searched a male who was found to be in possession of a metal pole. The 22-year-old male was arrested and remains in police custody.
‘Investigations are ongoing and we are still appealing for information that can assist in our enquiries.’
The 15-year-old and the man have since been released on police bail, with the 22-year-old being released under investigation.
