After weeks of clues and guessing, Pearly King has finally been revealed as Bruno Tonioli.
The Masked Dancer finale is underway, and Pearly King, Onomatopoeia and Scissors have been battling out their dance moves to win.
The series, a spin-off of the ever popular Masked Singer, has bagged itself a primetime Saturday night slot this year after debuting on screens in the summer of 2021 – and you can expect a clash of the titans as it goes head to head with Strictly Come Dancing.
12 celebrities have been strutting their stuff, as judges Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Oti Mabuse and Peter Crouch do their best to guess their identities.
Until today, viewers were left wondering who was behind the elaborate costume, with guesses including EastEnders’ Danny Dyer and even Shane Ritchie.

Clues included someone ‘playing a role’, held tickets from London to Hollywood, and that they’re ‘from the streets of London’.
And there were also several hints to Strictly Come Dancing – feathers, glitter, and the paso doble.
And now we know that Strictly judge Bruno had been behind the lion’s mane the whole time!

Which definitely explains all the Strictly Come Dancing clues, and the impressive moves!
Although, even Bruno admitted he couldn’t quite keep up with the East End accent, which he later joked to host Joel Dommett: ‘It’s hard work to talk like that mate!’

Of signing up to the show thinking it was actually The Masked Singer, he joked, ‘I said, “Singer, oh yeah I’ll do it. Dancer?? You’ve got to be kidding me!” You should always read your contract.’
He added of his character: ‘It had such swagger, it’s good doing something so out of your comfort zone.’
The Masked Dancer is available to watch on ITV Hub.
